Graduate students, Roni Barak Ventura and Albert Agustinus, along with undergraduate student, Sumayya Vawda made their way to the New York Academy of Science to present their recent research at the New York Structural Biology Discussion Group. Roni presented work on the enzyme, phosphotriesterase, used for the detoxification of organophosphate pesticides and nerve agents. Albert showed his recent results for small drug delivery for bone fracture treatment. Sumayya displayed her work on cancer theranostics.
